Since the start of this project I have had my eye on Toi Pōneke as a venue for the first Scene Show. In my band rehearsed there regularly in 2018, and I've always thought the large rehearsal space in the building's downstairs area would be a perfect show venue, and as of today, the Centre has agreed to work with me on making it happen.
Some details still need to by ironed out, but the first show will take place sometime in February next year. I'm now working on a full proposal and approaching bands to fill out the lineup. Exciting times.
